disastrous monday
think its one of the most disastrous day in this KK.
the first patient of the day no. 1001 (psy patient) actually threatened that she will kill me if i dont give her medicines. if it was back then, i would probably be scared and calm her down saying nice words. surprisingly, today i couldnt be bothered at all. i gave her the -.- look and walked off. it almost felt like "whatever you wanna do la auntie"..... and she went "i want my injection i want my injection, im going to kill people!".. and i was ady sitting in front of her giving her her medicines. =.=
then came this patient who was prescribed with MDI Budesonide and i happily dispensed MDI to him. thankfully i dono what hit him, before he left, he said "okay, so this one spray nose one la har..."..... i gave him a loud "HAR?!".. then i came to realise patient has been using Budesonide Nasal Spray instead of MDI. first pissed off case of the day with the doc! prescribing MDI for nasal spray?! =.=" pleaseeeeeeee!
tick tock tick tock.. 12pm (at the 425th patient) super a lot of patients for a KK like this eh.....
this is probably the most *ka-boom* thing that happened today.
a patient came for MDI. looked at how quick she's using her salbutamol, i figured she must not be using it the correct way. so i thought of doing a reassessment and wanted to teach her the right way. as i taught her, i might be a little stern and my tone sounded a little impatient. thats because she wasnt serious in learning and she even couldnt breathe in and out the CORRECT way. okay nvm. so i go on teaching... i promised i didnt scold or raised my voice. the next thing i know, she starting sobbing away in front of everyone at the counter =( SIGH! the whole thing looked AWKWARD. i couldnt believe i actually made a patient cried. i mean, making someone cry feels horrible. like seriously....... at least for me la. sigh!
the list can just go on n on..
came this kid! everyone knows i love kids. but this kid............. the story just doesnt seem right to be written out in words. but for all u know, a pharmacist in her lab coat sitting at the counter trying to stop the kid from doing naughty stuff. and he actually HIT my hand away when i was holding on to sth he wanted to grab~ =.=" he just comes n goes and disturb our work through out a good half an hour.. =.="! ARGH~
thennnnn. came an english speaking male patient. with another pakistan looking male patient following behind. out of curiousity, i simply asked as a healthcare person, "so whats the reason that u came to the doctor today?"
with no hesitation, he answered "gonorrhea".. *with a smile*
typically someone who cant handle awkward moment, i think i did quite well acting normal. with a very cool tone, i went "oh okay". dispensing ended and then, came two kepoh nurses! LOL.. they came and told the whole story of the two patients and starting gossiping around. MIGOSH...... how unethical i know. but crap, it totally made my day. seeing how kepoh these people can be and how they were trying so hard only to whisper and not be loud. ultra funneh......... =.=
3 more hours to go before i can go back and have a hot shower and hop onto my half dead bed! thank God the day is ending soon. may tomorrow be a better day~ :( Amen and Amen...
